His industrial career started at GE Power Generation as a steam turbine and compressor aerodynamics engineer and manager and later at Siemens Demag Delaval Turbomachinery as Manager of R&D.

We would like to share an exciting news. Our co-founder and CEO, Dr. Gary Wang is receiving the distinction as Distinguished Professor at SFU (Simon Fraser Univ., BC, Canada) beginning 1 July 2022 for a five-year term. Each year, SFU goes through a rigorous process to select 8-9 award recipients from nominations across all its faculties.
Empower Operations Corp. joins with industrial and academic partners from Finland, Sweden, and Korea in developing intelligent process modelling and optimization technologies for additive manufacturing, robotic welding, and die casting. Thanks go to Canadian government for financial support, and IRAP staff (especially Kevin) who provided tremendous support in the process!
